Hit the Ground Running 2010

Typically, salespeople spend this time of year closing out the year and winding down for the holidays. These same people will spend the first few weeks of next year ramping up and getting things organized for the new year. 1st quarter results will get off to a slow start. Optimal Salespeople howver, devote time now so they can hit the ground running on January 4th. They set their personal sales goals for the year. They establish their sales plan for the year. They review their past performance and determine where they need help and where they can improve. They review their territory plan. They sharpen their sales skills and they do all of this while finishing the year strongly and getting a little down time with family during the holidays. “Are you hanging on” waiting for the end of the year or are you powering your way to the finish line while planning how to earn yourself a big raise next year?
